FC FAST - soccer activities suspended through March 22

FC FAST has decided to suspend all soccer activities through March 22nd at this time.  Given the rapidly changing developments of the past 24 hours we feel like it is the smartest approach to take.  First and foremost, your son's safety is of our utmost priority within the club and we do not want to chance a single player getting sick.  Social distancing is a prudent move at this point until we have a full understanding of the coronavirus situation in our area.

At the select level, both the Classic League and Plano Premier League have postponed the season today.  We expect the academy leagues to follow suit shortly.  Given the fact that spring break will impact attendance and the weather looks bad next week only helped reinforce our decision.  In addition, with many families traveling for spring break the chances of one of the over 100 FC FAST families to come in contact with someone with the coronavirus is increased.

We will keep you informed of any updates from the leagues and re-evaluate the situation on or before March 23rd to decide when the club will resume soccer activities.  I would encourage each of you to get outside with your little superstar to kick a ball around as the weather permits over he course of the next few weeks.

Everyone at FC FAST has a passion for soccer but we have a bigger passion for the safety of your child.  Please let me know if you have any questions and we hope to see each of you again in a couple of weeks.

Respectfully,
Paul Donaghy
Director of Coaching, FC FAST
