FC FAST wraps 2019 fall season

The calendar has flipped to 2020 meaning the 2019 fall soccer season in behind us and a new decade of FC FAST soccer awaits.  The six FC FAST boys soccer teams had strong falls seasons.  Individual team records for the fall were:

- FC FAST 11' (Kelley)     5-1-0 PIT Ligue Elite
- FC FAST 08' (Donaghy) 8-1-0 Plano Premier League
- FC FAST 07' (Badri)       7-2-1 Plano Premier League
- FC FAST 07' (Womack)  3-6-1 Plano Premier League
- FC FAST 07' (Donaghy)  7-2-0 Chamber Classic League
- FC FAST 06' (Parra)        9-0-1 Plano Premier League

In total the club has 39wins, just 12 losses and 3 ties.  FC FAST teams scored 182 goals with 73 against for a plus-109 goal differential.  While the results were really good, they are not the focus of the coaching staff and simply a byproduct of player and team growth.

"We had a fantastic fall here at the club," said Director of Coaching Paul Donaghy.  "Our boys had a blast, our coaches enjoyed working with all our players and our parents were truly supportive of each and every member of FC FAST.  While we work hard to develop both individually and as teams, it just doesn't feel like work at all.  Our player retention rate heading into the fall was amazing and the huge numbers at tryouts is a testament to the clubs player-centric philosophies."

"We have big plans for each of the teams this spring and for the club itself with the addition of multiple teams," Donaghy continued.  "Each of us here at the club simply love what we are doing and it isn't a job as we are all volunteers which is a different dynamic than most other academies.  The focus truly is on development as we strive to see each player reach their maximum potential.  That is our reward each and everyday."
