FC FAST Announces New 2010 Boys Team

January 21, 2020 - FC FAST is pleased to announce that the club is forming a new 2010 boys team to begin play this spring. The new team will be coached by Loren Powell, along with his assistant coach Gian Falco, and is the second new boys academy team in the club added for the spring this month.

"We are pleased to add our first 2010 boys club to FC FAST", said Paul Donaghy, Director of Coaching. "The addition of this team completes our boys age groups from 2006 down to 2011 covering seven birth years. There are more and more brothers playing within the club and this was the catalyst for adding this team as a talented 2010 boy on Coach Powell's team brother joined one of our three 2007 teams this past fall and has enjoyed every second with FC FAST."

Coach Powell brings experience as both a player and a coach having grown up in Amarillo but traveling to the Metroplex to play in the Classic League during his youth. Loren played predominately keeper and center back during his playing career. Coach Powell traveled the world during his five years in the Army. He brings 20 years of soccer coaching experience including the current 2010 boys team he has coached since 2014 playing up a year in the McKinney Soccer Association.
